Thanks for stopping by! So here is a little bit about me -- My parents first put a camera in my hand (after much begging and pleading) at the age of 5. Nothing fancy by any means, but enough for me to get hooked. All thru high school and college (and post college), my camera was with me at all the important moments of my life. My friends would sometimes let out a little groan when I'd bust out the camera, but would soon come around and ask me for my doubles (remember doubles??). I didn't realize it then, but these pictures are the story of how I became who I am today. I go through old photo albums and relish the fact I have my formative years and so many memories captured on film.

So how did I get into this professionally? Once I finished my MBA, I realized I needed to take a class that wasn't for my career, I needed to do something for the pure joy of it -- and it was a black and white film class. I was hooked! Standing in a darkroom, editing images with the smell of developer and fixer, it became a place of calm. I soon began working with a boutique studio photographing weddings. When friends heard I was doing this professionally, they'd ask, "Well, will you take pics of my family"? And that leaves us where we are today!

Things that make me happy: an adirondack chair, a great glass of wine, trying new restaurants, a carvel soft chocolate ice cream cone, game night with friends, mel brooks and carl reiner's two thousand and thirteen year old man, a good book, seeing my entertainment weekly in my mailbox on Friday and NCAA march madness.
